High Point Gutter repaired the gutters on a Redmond home in September 2026. The September 11 assessment found gutters full of conifer needles, a clogged downspout outlet, and runs the estimator marked for reslope. On September 28 the crew cleaned the system, resloped 34 feet of gutter, resealed three corners, and reconnected two downspouts.

What High Point found
The assessment photos on September 11 show the gutters along the back and side of the house filled with brown conifer needles and dark debris, deep enough to hide the bottom of the trough. At one outlet the needles had packed into the top of the downspout.

The estimator drew the gutter runs on graph paper and color-coded the problems: red for runs that needed to be resloped, blue for corners to reseal, and orange where a downspout had to be hooked back up. The sketch marks 34 feet for reslope.
Why the quote was a repair
The problems on the sketch were local. The gutters were not marked for replacement, and the quote did not include any new gutter. It covered four things: a full cleaning, a reslope of the 34 feet marked on the sketch, a reseal of three corners, and reconnecting the two downspouts that would move when the gutter was re-hung.
The quote explains the hook-ups: when the gutter is resloped, the downspouts need to be readjusted to meet it.
How the repair was completed
On September 28 the crew hand-cleaned every gutter and cleared the downspouts. On the 34 feet marked for reslope, they released the fasteners, set the gutter at a new pitch toward the downspouts, checked it with a torpedo level, and re-secured it. Per the quote, each corner reseal means removing the old sealant, wire-brushing the metal, and applying a high-grade silicone. Then the two downspouts were reconnected to the re-hung runs.

Gutter repair cost in Redmond, WA
This project fell in the $800 to $1,400 range. That covered the full cleaning, 34 feet of reslope, three corner reseals, and two downspout hook-ups. The cleaning and the reslope were the two largest lines. A job with more feet out of slope, or more corners to reseal, would cost more. This range reflects the scope of this completed project and is not a current quote.
What homeowners with similar gutters should know
Clean the gutters before judging them. On this house the estimator marked the slope and corner problems alongside the needle-filled runs.
Ask how the downspouts are handled on a reslope. Re-hanging a gutter moves its outlets, and the connections have to be redone.
A corner reseal is more than a bead of caulk. On this job the quote called for stripping the old sealant and wire-brushing the metal first.
Related questions
How much does gutter repair cost in Redmond, WA?
This Redmond repair fell in the $800 to $1,400 range for a full cleaning, 34 feet of reslope, three corner reseals, and two downspout hook-ups.
What does it mean to reslope a gutter?
Resloping means releasing the gutter’s fasteners, setting it at a new pitch so water runs to the downspout, and re-securing it. On this job the crew checked the new slope with a torpedo level.
Why were the downspouts reconnected?
Changing the pitch of a gutter moves its outlets. The two downspouts on the resloped runs had to be hooked back up to the re-hung gutter.
How were the corners resealed?
Per the quote, the crew removed the old sealant, wire-brushed the metal, and applied a high-grade silicone at each of the three corners.
How long did this repair take?
The repair was done on September 28, 2026, two and a half weeks after the September 11 assessment.
