High Point Gutter repaired the existing gutters on a single-story Woodinville home in June 2026 by resealing 12 gutter corners and reworking the drainage. The crew closed off an old outlet, added a new one, installed 26 feet of new downspout, added a bottom elbow that sends water onto gravel, and fitted custom offsets to the downspouts on the shed. The same visit included a gutter cleaning and a roof blow-off.

The problem: gutter corners and one downspout
The homeowner asked High Point to assess the gutters for repairs and cleaning. The gutters themselves stayed in place. The quote focused on the joints and the drainage.
At a corner, two runs of gutter meet at a seam that depends on sealant. At the May 31 assessment, the crew photographed corners like the one below, with a dark streak running down the face of the gutter from the seam.

Why reseal instead of replace
Nothing in the job record calls for new gutter, so High Point quoted a gutter repair on the existing system. The corner work was the largest part of the job, about half of the total. That is a useful way to read this project: the money went into 12 seams, not into new metal.
The quote spells out High Point’s three steps for each corner: remove the old sealant, wire-brush the metal, then apply a high-grade silicone.

Reworking the drainage
The second part of the job dealt with drainage. The crew plugged and patched one existing outlet, using the same remove, wire-brush and silicone steps as the corners. They added a new outlet to the gutter and installed 26 feet of new 2×3-inch downspout. They also added a bottom elbow on a downspout to direct the water onto gravel.
Color was part of the plan. The downspout is light Pecan to match the body of the house, and the first elbow is white to match the trim, so the new piece matches the wall and trim colors.

The shed downspouts
The detached shed got two custom offsets at the bottom of its downspouts. High Point fabricates offsets in-house to fit the wall, so the downspout sits flush instead of relying on a stock part. These are Low Gloss White.
How the visit went
All of the work was done in one visit on June 4. Along with the repairs, the crew hand-cleaned every gutter and downspout and blew loose debris off the roof.
Gutter repair cost in Woodinville, WA
This project fell in the $1,600 to $2,600 range. That covered resealing 12 corners, plugging one outlet and adding another, 26 feet of new downspout with a bottom elbow, two custom offsets, a gutter cleaning and a roof blow-off.
Corner resealing is priced per corner, so the number of corners drives most of the cost on a job like this. Fewer corners, or no downspout changes, would bring it down. Corners that need new metal are a larger repair. This range reflects the scope of this completed project and is not a current quote.
What homeowners should know about leaky corners
Look at your corners from below on a rainy day. Drips at a seam, or dark streaks running down the gutter face from a corner, are worth having checked.
Ask how the reseal will be done. The steps on this job were removal of the old sealant, wire-brushing, and new silicone on clean metal.
A repair visit can cover drainage too. On this home, one outlet was closed, a new one was added, a new downspout went in, and a bottom elbow now sends water onto gravel, all on the same visit as the corner work.
Related questions
How much does gutter repair cost in Woodinville, WA?
This Woodinville repair fell in the $1,600 to $2,600 range for 12 corner reseals, an outlet change, 26 feet of new downspout, two custom offsets, a cleaning and a roof blow-off. Smaller jobs with fewer corners cost less.
Can leaking gutter corners be fixed without new gutters?
On this home they were. High Point removed the old sealant from 12 corners, wire-brushed the metal, and applied new silicone. Whether a reseal is enough depends on the condition of the metal at the corner.
What does plug and patch mean for a gutter outlet?
It means closing off an existing downspout hole in the gutter and sealing over it. On this job the crew cleaned and wire-brushed the metal around the old outlet before sealing the patch with silicone.
Can a new downspout match my house color?
Yes. This downspout was light Pecan to match the siding, with a white first elbow to match the trim.
How long did this repair take?
One visit on June 4, 2026, including the gutter cleaning and roof blow-off.
